Agile

Agile Development

The meaning of “agile” in English is “quickness” or “lightness”. Agile development (aka: Agile Software Development or Agile) is a development method that repeats the development process, including planning, development, testing, and implementation, in a short period of time. Agile development focuses on:

  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

SAFe

There are multiple Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, Kanban, Adaptive Software Development (ASD), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and more. To collaborate with various teams, including technical teams and marketing teams, SAFe is the most commonly used Agile method provided by Scaled Agile, Inc. SAFe improves business collaboration and delivery processes by providing proper communication.

Agile and localization

A localization team is responsible for adapting product components and documentation for various regions. The team needs to collaborate with management, development, and marketing teams. SAFe is an effective way to adapt product components for the localization team as well.
